Summary

Stephanie Punt is a clinical health psychology graduate student collaborating with Dr. Steve Ilardi in the TLC Lab. She grew up in Silverdale, WA and graduated from the University of Washington with degrees in Biochemistry and Biology, with an emphasis in Environmental Sciences. Since 2006 she has had many different research responsibilities at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital, but most of her research has focused on surgical outcomes, survivorship, and quality of life in adults and children with sarcoma cancer. 

 

Her current research interests include healthy lifestyle interventions and goal setting. Through her advisor, Dr. Christie Befort at the KU Medical Center, she is currently involved in implementing weight loss interventions across the rural Midwest.​
